spilled milk!

Have you ever wondered about the ratio of liquid in stomach to liquid on floor?  I firmly believe that, if calculated, I'd see a 50/50 ratio.  With a 9 year old and a 3 year old, I'd allocate about 90% of that spillage to the wee one.  After nine years and between the 2 kids, I'd say I have a close relationship with each floor board (hardwood) and have gone through hundreds of sponges.  How do people with carpeting cope?
